Ash Wednesday

This Wednesday, the 17th of February, is Ash Wednesday. The children will be taking part in a special liturgy in the Church on this day. This occasion signifies the beginning of Lent. During the Liturgy the children will have a cross drawn on their head using the ashes from the palms used during Palm Sunday last Year. We will be having lessons around this prior to the day. This will help to familiarise your child with what takes place on Ash Wednesday, and to help to explain the significance of this day.

Welcome to our Room 2 Blog

Greetings. I trust you all had a wonderful Christmas and that you and your children managed to have some quality family time over the summer break. I am excited to be starting another year with a new group of children in Room 2. The first few weeks will be all about settling your child into Room 2, and establishing classroom and other school routines. I look forward to meeting you all, and working alongside you to make this transition as enjoyable and stress free as possible.
